Not sure if this is funny…

Yesterday J and I were at our local food market and there was a sign that said help wanted. WE were so excited, we went right up to the courtesy desk and J asked about the job. The lady said “Yes, we have an opening in the pharmacy department but you have to be 21”. J and I looked at each other and started laughing so hard we had to walk away from this poor lady who was wondering what was so funny? Now who else would see the fun in that story? LOL Just you guys!

I am a mom of 4 who thought she was home free when my oldest son went off to college. My serious blunder? Genetics and being naive or maybe just plain stupid.

I felt the same laugh well up from within when someone suggested to me that Bryan should go apply for work at the local casino, as a bartender! He could make sooooo much money, they told me. Like you, I just laughed!

Yea I would have laughed too. That was great and wonderful that you two could laugh about it!

How great is it that you got to laugh at that together? A sure sign of life moving forward. Thanks for making me smile on a Monday morning!

When my son recently applied at a local grocery store, they said they had openings for a night person to stock shelves and unload boxes, or a day person to run the cash register. He said, “I think the night job would be best” (not wanting to trust himself with access to all that money every day). Best news – he did get the night job 🙂

Hahahaha! It is too funny! The same thing just happened with me and my mom! Except it was at the college when a lady suggested I go for a degree in pharmacology… Mom and I looked at each other like it was the silliest thing we’d ever heard and we had to just walk away because we had the giggles. The lady probably thought we were crazy…

I guess no matter how dire the situation, we’ll always have a thing like laughter 😀
